High Tech sew on reflective strips are mainly available in two main form factors: Glossy prismatic strips made of vinyl or matte finish fabric  with encapsulated lenses. The primary advantage of the glossy strips is the ability to use fluorescent colors that help multiply day light in addition to night time reflections. On the other hand, the great advantage of the fabric form is its greater flexibility. This allows it to be folded and bent on soft fabric or gear to which it is being sewn. Your glossy strips are  very popular on safety vests. The fabric strips add ease of use when sewing fabric edges or recesses.
